Our client is a specialist not-for-profit organisation who operate in the public health and social services sector. They have a commitment to making a real and significant impact for communities across Aotearoa.

They are at a critical part of their journey. They are repositioning – evolving their identity, their narrative and their reach to match the scale and urgency of the challenges they exist to address. That means a new brand, a sharper story, and a step-change in how they communicate with their audience. They are looking for a senior marketing leader to help them make that shift.

As Head of Marketing, you will lead the marketing and communications function – owning strategy, delivery and performance across all channels.

This is a senior, hands-on role where you’ll lead through delivery, supported by a small, high-performing internal team and external partners.

This role provides the opportunity for you to define the marketing function of an organisation mid-transformation, shape a brand from the ground up, and build the digital presence and campaigns that will connect their audience with the support they need.

This is a leadership role, sitting at the senior team table, with real scope and real ownership. The right person will bring strong digital marketing credentials, commercial instincts, and the strategic confidence to build something genuinely new.

We’re looking for a digitally-led marketer who has built or scaled a brand in a lean environment. The ideal candidate will bring:

- 5+ years’ experience from marketing/comms roles with substantial, demonstrable hands-on digital delivery.

- Proven experience developing and executing end-to-end marketing strategies aligned to business objectives.

- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to translate marketing activity into measurable business outcomes.

- Advanced stakeholder management skills, working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

- A data-driven mindset with experience using analytics to inform strategy, optimise performance and report on ROI.

- Strengths in digital marketing from planning and optimising paid campaigns, practical SEO experience and confidence with Google analytics and reporting.

- Strong writing and editing skills, capable of adapting tone and complexity for diverse audiences.

- Proven success managing media relationships and navigating issues response where required.

This is a full-time role, based in the office in Auckland’s city fringe.
